Training & Assessment Description
This accredited skill will give you an understanding of health and safety legislative requirements to work safely and prevent injury or harm to yourself and others. Learn how to identify and report common construction hazards, understand basic risk control measures, and identify procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. You will also cover how to correctly select and fit common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.
Outcome
On successful completion of being deemed competent you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) and a plastic industry wallet card issued by QTLT RTO 40931.
Eligibility & Course Information
Course Delivery
Face to face, online and virtual classroom (Zoom) delivery. Availability will vary depending on your location.
Requirements
To complete your White Card you must:
- have 100 Points of Identification
- have a basic understanding of the English language
- Create a USI before attending a White Card course
- meet the age requirements of your state of residence
- LLN a short literacy and numeracy test will be required
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a White Card and be able to safely work in the construction industry.
